Thomas Barnes, M.D., FAACS Partner

Dr. Thomas Barnes brings over 20 years of physician experience, business development and media background to HMC. He is triple board certified in three different medical specialties and is a fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery where he has been an instructor and lecturer of cosmetic surgery and laser procedures since 1996. He has also taught accredited medical courses worldwide and has been regularly featured on dozens of national and local L.A. television segments including CNN, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Fox Morning Show, EXTRA and Inside Edition. His own TV show is currently in development.

Dr. Barnes is an advisor, speaker and trainer of physicians and reps for numerous medical technology companies in various stages of development, both public and private. In addition, he has created numerous procedural techniques which have been adopted globally in the field of cosmetic surgery. Barnes also hosts strategic practice management seminars nationally and consults with major companies in the areas of product development, launch and distribution, as well as new product evaluation and acquisition. He has proven expertise in all areas of health and fitness, mainstream medical issues and technologies, as well as aesthetic product development, distribution and marketing.

Dr. Barnes graduated AOA, top of his class, from the USC School of Medicine and completed his residency training at UCLA. Thom, his wife Lindsay and daughter Emma live in Newport Beach, CA, where he has practiced medicine since 1995. He has also been an on-camera personality and media host, TV segment producer and professional writer. As with our other HMC partners, Thom Barnes draws on his broad professional background and unique expertise to assist our clients in maximizing opportunities.
